((Fis, Valasta was going to strike when Linera takes her daily walk through the garden. Lin won't go anywhere till Lance shows up, but if this thread starts dragging out more than a day before that happens i may just go ahead and make her go. Not trying to rush or get mad, but I'm at a stand still till ya'll finish the play-by-play of making pancakes and tea.))

Elyse looked away, shy for one of the first times in her life.
"So, uh," she coughed awkwardly, "You come up with that plan yet?" She was uncomfortable. Not because the situation was awkward, but because she was too comfortable with it.
I smiled slyly, "Well, then, if you think so..." She looked towards the inn, reached out with her mind and touched Sol.
"Sol, could you or one of the others run and tell Lucius that I think it will happen today? No...That I'm sure it will happen today."
"No problem." Sol smiled as he stopped in his tracks, gauging her feelings. "Have fun." He chuckled, then he distanced himself as he ran in the direction of the Temple.
"I will," I whispered with a smile, my eyes crinkling at the edges as I chuckled as well.

"Lucius?" Sol sent the thought ahead of him as he neared the area he normally found their old friend. "It's Sol, where are you?"

He had run faster than almost any of them besides shadow could have matched. He saw his friend and smiled. He was, indeed, doing battle exercises. He bayed and howled in hello.
I smiled with a satisfied sigh. "This is nice." I noted with an almost purr-like accompaniment coming from my chest.

Vallun's eyes had a glint to them, something that made anyone who looked into them hooked on his every word. The words he spoke then were full of deep meaning. "because I love you." he said, quietly. Then he leaned forward and kissed her, full on the lips.

Shocked, Elyse's hand flew up as if to hit him, but stopped as it registered. Her hand fell slowly to his shoulder as she returned the kiss forcefully. She pulled away only because of the other patrons in the Inn. She didn't want them to feel embarrassed. She was blushing ferociously. She put a trembling hand to her warming cheek, a bright hope and happiness widening her eyes.
"I-I think...I think I love you too." There was a timidity to her voice that he'd never heard before. He instantly knew that it was true.

Whatever is about to happen, i feel i have a major part to play in it. One more thing to do before it, though." He stood up, and took her hand in his. "I will return, Elsye. I promise." He said.
