This is my personal opinion on a cast for Dragonlance movies. Tell me what you think:

*Raistlin-James Marsters
*Crysania-Bridget Regan
*Sturm-Christian Bale
*Alhana-Jessica Lowndes
*Dalamar-Ben Barnes
*Kitiara-Kate Beckinsale
*Gilthanas-Justin Hartley
*Silvara-Diane Kruger
*Lord Ariakas-Craig Parker
*Lord Ariakan-Ralph Fiennes
*Riverwind-Hugh Jackman
*Goldmoon-Emilie de Ravin
*Palin-Edward Norton
*Usha-Amber Heard
*Flint-Anthony Hopkins
*Tasslehoff-Aaron Johnson
I still have some characters left to be determined...but this is it so far. I haven't based most of these on actual acting ability, but rather on the look that they have for the character.

They guy that played Spike in Buffy the Vampire Slayer as Raistlin? I dont know about that. Hugo Weaving would be better in that role I think. Hopkins great actor but he is getting on in years so I dont know. The Lioness isnt around in the first three movies so why have her casted?

I personally really like James Marsters as an actor, but I'd be open to a different actor for Raistlin...but if I was going to change it, I'd pick someone younger, not older like Hugo Weaving. I don't think Raistlin's actor should be that old and I already thought it was a stretch with James Marsters. Also, I always pictured Flint looking old, so I didn't think that Hopkins' age was a problem, but I guess that's a good point. I just casted the Lioness because I'm eventually going to do all the characters throughout the Weis and Hickman series, not just the three books. I've started some of the second generation characters besides her like Palin, Usha, Steel, and such....so I just put her in, too. I'm continually adding more characters from the other books past the first three. Anyway, I really appreciate you guys looking over this and giving me some feedback because I'm kind of young and don't know the skills of all of these actors or a wide variety of choices. Thanks!

No, I understand. I hope I didn't sound upset because I didn't mean to. I'm actually just really happy that I'm getting some constructive feedback about this. It's just really cool to communicate with other people that know Dragonlance exists, and get their opinions on my obsessive project. lol.

Yeah, I can tell. Everyone here seems really nice. I'm new here, so I'm just wondering...is the main thing people post on here stories that they write together? Because that seems to be a lot of what I see. It doesn't seem like people talk about Dragonlance stuff a lot. I'm just trying to get to know this site. Right now, I'm really into Dragonlance, so I'm pretty excited to be part of this and show my thoughts.

Do you feel alright cuz? Where is all this family and comradery busness suddenly comeing from? I can understand me saying it but you? Not to say that what you said isnt true its just...you....wow. I didnt think you sounded upset at all infact I like your politeness you seem like a very nice person. It isnt stories that we write together it is just rping. If you would like to join in post a character on the Inn of the Last Home Thread as it is the original rp thread and all the others branched off of it.

Well, you're doing a good job at it, then. Hey, I've noticed that there aren't really a lot of members on here that post...which really surprises me. I thought that this site would have a lot of DL fans. I kinda like it this way, though.
