Tanis & Laurana (2:42) by Christian Marcussen (DLMP Producer)
This is the love theme for the Elf and the Half-Elf. It inspired by the chapter called Tanis & Laurana that takes place in the city of Qualinost. The two meet alone under a star filled sky and talk about there past, present and...future. The middle section of this song is the Elven theme in a slow version. It can also be heard in a heroic version in the end of my other song "The Slug". In a motion picture this theme would probably also be used as Laurana's theme. MP3 (1,117K)

Cleric of Mishakal (2:16) by Christian Marcussen (DLMP Producer)
This song is basically Goldmoon's theme. It takes place surrounding the events at the end of Book 1. Goldmoon wanders around in an old cavern and here she has contact with Mishakal. Then in the middle part of the song She runs out to the others who have just been attacked by Khisanth. There Riverwind lies dead by dragons breath. The song ends as we witness the healing powers of Mishakal. MP3 (940K)

Fight at the Lift (2:19) by Christian Marcussen (DLMP Producer)
Another action themes that takes place above the underground city of Xak Tsaroth. Here our heroes battle hordes of Draconians near, and on the lift system of the city. It is based on the Dragonlance action theme which I also use in "The Twice Dead City". It ends with a even more heroic version of the Dragonlance main title (Heroes of the Lance). MP3 (954K)

Fizbans Party (Opening theme) (2:32) by Christian Marcussen (DLMP Producer)
This is a music piece which includes Fizbans theme. It is composed for the prelude in the book where Fizban enters The Inn of the Last Home. Here he wonders round moving the furniture around as a senile old man. It ends with Tika asks if there is going to be a party. Acompanied by his theme as well as a low horn version of Heroes of the Lance, he answers that its going to be a Party of the like that Krynn hasn't seen. In a movie the screen would go black as my Dragonlance main title begins. MP3 (954K)

Heroes of the Lance (1:40) by Christian Marcussen (DLMP Producer)
This actually the main title for Dragonlance and begins with a melody played by a low horns. At this part I composed with the thought that the move begins with a monologue. Something that brings us into the world of Krynn. As the monologue ends the volume increases and the Dragonlance main theme begins, as we on the screen see the lovely DragonLance logo appears. From here on I imagine names of the cast and crew appear maybe over the beautiful landscape of Krynn. The music ends just before we see one of our heroes for the first time. MP3 (688K)

The Twice Dead City (3:32) by Christian Marcussen (DLMP Producer)
The music begins just after Kisanth is killed by Goldmoons magic staff. As Kisanth disintegrates the walls of the ancient city of Xak Tsaroth start to collapse. This I have tried to "illustrate" by making an rumbling, dangerous and aggressive beginning. Our heroes gather themselves as everything is falling down upon them. They flee only to discover that they "only" have to fight a couple of hundred draconians. So all in all this action/drama piece of music is highly dramatic, and dangerous but still with an occasional heroic passage. MP3 (1,455K)

The Kender (1:37) by Christian Marcussen (DLMP Producer)
This I basically Tasselhoffs Theme, but the music is composed to the scene where we meet him for the first time. Flint and Tanis have just met each other again after 5 years. During there talk they here odd noises from the bushes, and the two think that it might be danger. This is where the music begins. It begins with deep horns and odd noises, but changes radically when Tanis and Flint see Tasselhoff when he appears before his old friends. As the three rejoice, it happens to Tasselhoffs theme. A Slug! (2:37) by Christian Marcussen (DLMP Producer)
Here our heroes have entered the ancient elven catacomb in an attempt to enter Pax Tharkas. At one point they enter the burial chamber of Kith-Kanan. Here a giant acid-spitting slug attacks them. They try slaying it but nothing seems to work. Arrown bounce of and swords hardly scratch the creature. Towards the end of the theme the slug is about to make Tanis into breakfast. At this point the drums of death are heard, but all this starts turns into the Elven theme as Kith-Kanan, the dead elven king passes on his sword (in slow motion). But under the theme the war drums still can be heard, and their increasing volume represents the still looming threat that the giant slug still opposes. Suddenly the elf theme again can be heard, but this time in an action version as Tanis slays the beast with his new magical sword. MP3 (1,080K)
